Area students make NDSCS president's honor list

The North Dakota State College of Science has named 423 students to its fall semester 2017 President's Honor List. The Honor List recognizes students who have achieved grade point averages of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credits with letter grades. The honorees include:

Anamoose: Lee Reinowski, Architectural Drafting and Estimating Technology

Drake: Thomas Gonzalez, Welding Technology

Rugby: Ethan Clements, Welding Technology; Kiefer Gingerich, John Deere Tech; Keaton Larson, Building Construction Technology; Peyton Livedalen, Electrical Technology

Towner: Katie Goodman, Dental Assisting

Brorby Named to Dean's List

MORRIS, Minn. (Jan. 18, 2018) - Callie Brorby, of Rolette , has been named to the University of Minnesota, Morris Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List students must achieve a grade point average of 3.66 or higher while taking 12 or more credits, with two-thirds of these credits on the A-F grading system.

Morris is the University of Minnesota's public liberal arts college, a residential campus located in west central Minnesota.

RHS grad makes Dean's List

Kelsey Schmaltz, a 2014 graduate of Rugby High School, was named to the Minnesota State University Moorhead dean's list for the fall 2017 semester. To qualify for the list, students must maintain a 3.25 or higher grade point average while completing a minimum of 12 graded credits. Students must also be seeking a degree.

Schmaltz is currently majoring in graphic design.
