More than 1.300 on UND Spring 2018 Deans List

More than 1,300 students were named to the UND Deans List for the 2018 Spring Semester at the University of North Dakota. The Dean's List comprises students whose grade point average are in the top 15 percent of the enrollment in each of the University's degree granting colleges and schools. A student must have completed no fewer than 12 semester hours of academic work for the semester, of which eight or more hours must be graded work rather than "satisfactory/unsatisfactory."

More than 1,000 on UND Spring 2018 President's Roll of Honor

1,100 students were named to the University of North Dakota President's Roll of Honor for the 2018 Spring semester.

To qualify for the UND President's Roll of Honor, a student must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.80 or higher. The student must also have earned a minimum of 30 semester hours and have completed a minimum of 12 hours at the close of the semester, eight of which must be for traditional letter grades.

North Star Community Credit Union Awards College Scholarships

Each scholarship ranges from $500-$1000 and is awarded to a high school senior in the markets in North Dakota served by North Star.

This year, twenty-two applications were received and over half the applicants were awarded $500 scholarships.

Applicants must be a graduating senior, enrolled as a full-time student at a college of their choice and have parents who are members of North Star. The North Star Community Credit Union scholarships were established in 1980 and have been awarded to students annually ever since.

NDTC Announces 2018 NDTC Scholarship Recipients

Ten exceptional high school seniors were selected to each receive a $750 award through the NDTC College Scholarship Program. Jacquelyn Blessum, Rugby High School, daughter of Alan and Karleen Blessum, was among the ten selected.

NDTC demonstrates its commitment to our community by investing in the future of deserving youth in our service area. Consideration was given to high school senior applicants planning to attend a post secondary school and whose parents or guardians have their primary residence within NDTC exchanges and are a current subscriber of NDTC telecommunication services.
